Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about LeaderCoreAI

Platform Overview

What is LeaderCoreAI?

LeaderCoreAI is a B2B SaaS platform where managers practice difficult workplace conversations with AI team members before facing them in real life. Users engage in realistic simulations covering scenarios like performance feedback, conflict resolution, change management, and delegation - then receive instant, detailed coaching feedback on their approach.

How does it work?

Your managers select a scenario from the library, choose a difficulty level (Simple through Extreme), and enter a conversation with AI characters representing realistic workplace personalities. The AI responds dynamically based on your manager's approach - not from a script. After the session, they receive detailed feedback across competencies like Communication, Decision-Making, and Emotional Intelligence, with specific coaching advice citing exact moments from the conversation.

What types of scenarios are available?

The scenario library covers essential leadership situations: change management and strategic alignment, difficult feedback conversations, conflict resolution, delegation and empowerment, crisis management, team building and motivation, performance reviews, and influence without authority. New scenarios are released quarterly through seasonal content updates.

What makes the AI characters realistic?

Each scenario features AI team members with distinct personality archetypes - The Challenger who questions assumptions, The Skeptic who demands evidence, The Cultural Guardian who protects tradition, The Optimist who energizes with enthusiasm, The Risk-Averse Leader who prioritizes stability, and others. These characters respond authentically based on your manager's tone, word choice, and approach, creating genuinely challenging practice.

How is this different from ChatGPT or other AI tools?

ChatGPT is a general-purpose chat interface. LeaderCoreAI is a complete leadership development platform built around it. The differences: structured progression with five difficulty levels that challenge managers as they improve; competency scoring that tracks development over time; Private Scenarios for practicing real upcoming conversations; leaderboards that create healthy competition; and an HR analytics dashboard showing aggregate skill development across your organization. If your managers used ChatGPT, you'd have no visibility into who practiced, what skills improved, or whether it produced results.

For Your Managers

Will my managers actually use this?

Adoption is built into the platform design. Private Scenarios let managers practice for conversations they're already facing tomorrow - that's immediate personal relevance, not extra work. Sessions take 15-25 minutes (less than most meetings). Leaderboards create visibility and healthy competition. Difficulty levels keep it challenging long after initial curiosity fades. Organizations report that users find it engaging - feedback from beta deployments includes descriptions like 'very addictive' and 'transformational.'

What is the Private Scenarios feature?

Private Scenarios allow your managers to create personalized practice based on their actual upcoming workplace situations. Through an AI-guided interview, they describe their specific challenge - the people involved, the context, the stakes - and the platform generates a custom simulation. They can practice for tomorrow's difficult conversation today. Private scenarios are completely confidential: only the user can see them - not HR, not administrators, not LeaderCoreAI.

How do the difficulty levels work?

Your managers choose from five levels: Simple (cooperative characters, good for learning basics), Moderate (realistic resistance, responsive to good leadership), High (significant pushback, requires skillful navigation), Ultra (strong conflicting priorities, hard choices required), and Extreme (crisis-level challenge, maximum resistance). Higher difficulties earn more leaderboard points, encouraging managers to push themselves as they develop.

What kind of feedback do managers receive?

After each session, managers receive performance scores across multiple competencies - Communication, Decision-Making, Emotional Intelligence, Adaptability, and Vision Alignment. The feedback includes specific coaching advice that cites exact moments from the conversation, highlighting what worked, what didn't, and concrete suggestions for improvement. They can download PDF reports to track their development over time.

Can managers practice the same scenario multiple times?

Yes, unlimited times. Since the AI responds dynamically rather than following a script, each attempt creates a different conversation. Managers can try the same scenario ten different ways, testing different approaches and seeing different outcomes. This reinforces learning through repetition - the same methodology that builds expertise in athletics, music, and medicine.

Is this useful for senior leaders, or just new managers?

Senior leaders often benefit most. They receive the least honest feedback in real life - everyone softens criticism when talking to the boss. LeaderCoreAI provides objective feedback that reveals blind spots traditional 360 reviews miss. The Ultra and Extreme difficulty levels exist specifically to challenge experienced leaders. And Private Scenarios let executives practice for board presentations, difficult executive conversations, and high-stakes negotiations - completely privately.

How does the leaderboard work?

Your managers can participate in cohort-based leaderboards within your organization. Points are calculated from performance scores multiplied by difficulty level (higher difficulty = more points) plus bonuses for scenario variety. Weekly, monthly, and all-time rankings create ongoing engagement. Privacy is protected by default - managers appear under auto-generated display names unless they choose to show their real name.

For HR and L&D

We already have a leadership development program. Why add this?

LeaderCoreAI complements your existing programs - it doesn't replace them. Traditional training delivers essential frameworks, expert facilitation, and peer learning. But research shows that without reinforcement, most training content fades within weeks. LeaderCoreAI provides the practice that converts conceptual knowledge into lasting behavioral capability. Use it for pre-workshop preparation (so participants arrive with practical experience), post-workshop reinforcement (to lock in skills), or continuous development between formal training events.

Doesn't this make our training programs more expensive?

Yes, adding LeaderCoreAI increases cost per learner. But consider: if most workshop content fades without reinforcement, your existing training investment is delivering a fraction of its potential value. LeaderCoreAI protects that investment from decay. At approximately €30/month per user (annual plan), it costs less than one hour of executive coaching - but provides unlimited practice all year. The question isn't whether you can afford to add this; it's whether you can afford to keep losing most of what you're already spending.

How do I track whether it's working?

The HR Viewer dashboard shows aggregate engagement metrics (completion rates, session frequency, scenario variety), competency development trends across your cohort, and performance improvements over time - all without exposing individual conversation content. You can see which skills are developing, where gaps remain, and how engagement correlates with development. This gives you visible proof that training investment is producing measurable skill development.

What analytics do I get as an HR or L&D administrator?

The HR dashboard provides: adoption metrics showing who's practicing and how often; aggregate competency scores across your organization; trends showing improvement over time; engagement patterns identifying what's working; and comparative analysis showing how different groups or cohorts perform. Individual privacy is protected - you see aggregate data, not individual conversation transcripts.

Can we customize scenarios for our organization?

Two levels of customization are available. First, every user can create Private Scenarios based on their actual situations - that's built-in personalization at no extra cost. Second, for larger deployments, LeaderCoreAI can create organization-specific scenario collections reflecting your culture, terminology, and typical challenges, available exclusively to your users. Custom collections require discussion with the LeaderCoreAI team.

How does this fit into blended learning programs?

LeaderCoreAI integrates naturally into blended formats. Use simulations before workshops so participants arrive having already wrestled with the scenarios they'll discuss - they bring real questions, not abstract ones. Use them after workshops to reinforce learning while concepts are fresh. The continuous practice replaces the 'training event' mentality with ongoing development.

Pricing and Commercial

How much does LeaderCoreAI cost?

LeaderCoreAI uses per-named-user subscription pricing. Base rates (1-5 users): €89/month, €229 for 3 months, or €359 for 12 months (approximately €30/month). Volume discounts are available in cohort size tiers for groups larger than 5 users. All features are included at every level - no tiered limitations or feature paywalls.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. A free 5-day trial with access to 4 scenarios is available through app.leadercore.ai - no credit card required. Additionally, a 10-minute leadership readiness assessment is available at leadercore.ai with no sign-up required, featuring six realistic scenarios to experience the platform immediately.

How does licensing work?

Subscriptions are per named user (not concurrent). Each seat is for a specific individual. Subscriptions are non-auto-renewing, which means renewal conversations happen intentionally rather than by default. Enterprise accounts include dedicated onboarding support and quarterly business reviews.

Can we run a pilot before full deployment?

Yes, pilots are recommended. Organizations typically run pilots with 10-20 engaged managers to validate adoption and demonstrate value before committing to full deployment. Define success criteria upfront - engagement rates, reported value, skill development metrics - so there's clear evidence for the renewal decision.

Technical and Security

What about data privacy and security?

LeaderCoreAI is built on Google Cloud Firebase, hosted in the EU (europe-central2 region). All data stays within European data protection frameworks. The platform is GDPR compliant. Conversation data is processed for feedback generation but not retained after sessions. Private Scenarios are visible only to the user who created them - not HR, not administrators, not LeaderCoreAI.

Do we need to install anything or buy hardware?

No. LeaderCoreAI is entirely browser-based. No apps to download, no VR headsets required, no IT infrastructure to deploy. Users access the platform through any web browser on any device - desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile. Deployment can happen same-day with no implementation timeline.

Does it integrate with our LMS?

LeaderCoreAI does not currently offer direct LMS integration. The platform operates as a standalone practice environment. However, analytics data can be exported as CSV files for import into your existing systems. If direct LMS integration is a hard requirement for your deployment, this may not be the right fit today.

What languages are supported?

The platform operates in 43 languages. The AI responds in whatever language the user writes in, and performance reports are generated in the user's language. This enables consistent leadership development across global teams without translation barriers. See our multilingual capabilities page at leadercore.ai/solutions/multilingual for full details.

How long does implementation take?

Same day. Accounts are created instantly, and onboarding is self-guided. An orientation session is recommended but not required. There's no implementation project, no IT coordination needed, and no waiting period before managers can start practicing.

Common Concerns

Can AI really replicate human interaction?

LeaderCoreAI doesn't try to replicate humans - it provides practice. Think flight simulator, not replacement pilot. No one expects a flight simulator to feel exactly like flying a real plane with real passengers - but pilots still log thousands of hours in simulators because practice builds capability. The same principle applies here: the value isn't in perfect realism, it's in safe, repeated practice with feedback. The AI characters are modeled on real personality types and respond dynamically to approach, tone, and word choice. Users consistently report that the pushback feels 'uncomfortably realistic.' The AI never gets tired, never holds back to be polite, and can be consistently challenging across hundreds of practice sessions. And managers can fail spectacularly without anyone knowing.

We tried something like this before and it didn't work. How is this different?

Most digital training fails because it's passive - watch videos, click through modules, take quizzes. LeaderCoreAI is active practice. You're in the conversation, making decisions, getting pushback. If relevance was the problem before, Private Scenarios solve that - users practice for their actual situations, not hypothetical ones. If engagement faded, our leaderboards, difficulty progression, and seasonal content sustain interest over months, not just at launch.

Our managers are too busy for another training tool.

A scenario takes 15-25 minutes - less than most meetings. Private Scenarios aren't extra work; they're preparation for conversations managers are already facing. The question is whether 20 minutes of practice is worth showing up better prepared for a high-stakes conversation. Most managers, when they see immediate relevance to their real challenges, find the time.

How do we know managers won't just game the system?

The AI evaluates actual leadership behaviors, not keyword matching. Managers can't game their way to good feedback - they have to demonstrate effective communication, emotional intelligence, and decision-making. And since the platform tracks development over time across multiple scenarios and difficulty levels, isolated high scores don't override the broader pattern.
